Modules

  1. Risk map for operational finance

Identify where cash, vendors, and accruals fail quietly—and where checks already exist but are not documented.

  2. Sampling without theater

Risk-weighted samples, stop-or-go rules, and how to write the rationale so a reviewer does not ask you to re-pull everything.

  3. Cash and suspense clinics

Bank reconciliations, float counts, and suspense aging with narratives that explain timing vs. control failure.

  4. Vendor cycle integrity

Three-way match gaps, bank-detail change controls, and duplicate payment hunts using practical worksheets.

  5. Accruals and cutoff packs

Evidence for estimates, cutoff tests, and the notes your auditor will request first.

  6. Walkthrough and sign-off

Assemble a close kit, rehearse a 12-minute walkthrough, and set a monthly maintenance cadence.

Module 4’s vendor worksheet caught two recurring duplicate patterns we had been blaming on “system noise.”

Solid on documentation. The live sessions assume you can pull ERP extracts mid-week—harder if IT locks exports.

FAQ

Who is this for?

Operational accountants, AP/AR leads, and junior controllers who run recurring finance checks and need clearer evidence packs.

Do I need prior audit experience?

No. Comfort with basic ledgers and Excel or sheets is enough. We do not assume you have worked in an external audit firm.

What is a real limitation of this course?

We do not certify you as an external auditor, and we do not cover full statutory audit methodology. If your goal is CPA exam prep or Big Four-style engagement management, this is the wrong program.
